Children and Family Courts Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS)

CAFCASS provides information for children and parents involved in family disputes.

Child Support Agency (CSA)

The Child Support Agency contributes to the Department for Work and Pension objective of ensuring the best start for all children and ending child poverty by 2020. The Agency exists to ensure that, where an application for child maintenance has been made, parents who live apart contribute financially to the upkeep of their children.

Grandparents’ Association was launched in 1987 by a group of grandparents whose grandchildren had been put into care, adopted from care or were not allowed any contact with them.

Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships

The TCCR aims to improve the quality of adult couple relationships, prevent family breakdown and enhance the lives of children. They offer counselling and psychotherapy services across London and run a variety of workforce development and training programmes throughout the country. They also undertake practice-based research that contributes to the understanding of couple and family relationships.
